A French style marble top sideboard with shaped front having 2 center drawers over 2 doors (each with diamond inlays on the interior door panels), flanked by rounded side drawers in the corners, over 2 rounded sided doors with raised panels. The four rectangular columns lead to tapered and reeded feet. Drawers all hand dovetailed with chamfered bottoms. Circa 1880. The backside of the cabinet originally was constructed with 2 extra feet, 4 matching feet), but one of the feet is missing - also, one of the rear feet is slightly bent but not loose - the sideboard is still structurally sound and rigid. Measures 70"W x 22 3/4"D x 39 1/2"H.
