A Chippendale mahogany butler's chest having 5 drawers mounted on bracket base. The draw fronts with burlwood panels and cock beading. The top with banded inlay around perimeter and with a molded edge. The top drawer pulls out to expose the butler's desk with fitted interior. Condition: Brasses replaced, small losses to top banding in right and left front corners, small loss to bottom corner of top drawer, feet original but 2 with repairs, interior door is slightly warped and does not stay closed, hidden drawers with some veneer damage, and minor surface wear - overall good condition and structurally sound. Measures 43"W x 21"D x 41"H.
