This is an "Amicable Split" bench/stool in solid walnut by Blu Dot. Like a modern sculpture, two thick wood planes meet at an imperceptible angle, held together by brass hardware. This versatile piece can be used almost anywhere in your home. It's unexpectedly comfortable and extraordinarily sturdy, rather hefty for its size. (If only all "Splits" were this "Amicable!")

Notes: Some surface damage and discoloration that could be re-finished.
