Item Description

African Tribal Basket c. 1950s (or earlier), possibly of Zulu origin. Exceptionally large size and condition, excellent display, tightly woven of hand-dyed grass-wrapped rods, rotating counter-clockwise ending in a wrapped rim.
(We have performed due diligence and consulted with several experts in this field, and have identified these baskets to the best of our knowledge. Buyers are welcome to do their own research and come to their own conclusion. If we are found to be incorrect, we apologize, but there can be no returns. All sales final, as found.)

Notes: very good condition, normal wear due to age and use.
