Very easy pick-up with clear instructions & signs. My items were quickly retreived for me & exactely as described. The very nice folks working this auction was icing on the cake of a great experience.

Fantastic vendors! They're incredibly accessible, flexible, and empathetic on a personal level. Coordinating a pickup and collaborating with them was truly delightful. Barbara and Andre possess great expertise in antiques. Will be looking out for more auctions held by them.

The address provided was different than the pick up site. I was sent to a private residence, long distance drive. I will not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. We welcome your criticism; it helps us provide better service. However, this low score is blatantly unfair, and not reflective of the service you received. We suspect your dissatisfaction is due to a classic case of buyer's regret. I will address your claims, re: addresses: 1) There were 2 addresses for the pickup, it was clearly and consistently listed in the description, and in our confirmation email. Auction Ninja's subsequent automated response was incorrect, despite our previous instructions, and we explained that to you on the phone. (We will take that up with A.N.) 2) We suspect the real reason for the poor review you left is, you changed your mind about the purchase. You said you didn't want to pick up your table because it was too far away (1 hour) and you were "anxious about driving" to a town you weren't familiar with. This is not how auctions work. You tried to cancel the purchase over the phone, after the auction closed 3) We told you we are not obliged to, and that cancellation was not possible. We set up an extra appointment to meet you onsite, on a day we had not planned to be there. At your request, we dismantled the table, with our tools. 3 people helped you wrap it with our own protective materials, we helped carry and carefully load it into your van. These are all services that we don't provide, as specifically stated in the auction description. We offered to dry your clothing that had become soaked in the rain, we offered you towels and something to drink, we gave you decorating and color scheme advice, we practically gave you 2 additional oversized framed prints (sold for $10), we even texted you to make sure you got home ok! As you were leaving, you were so impressed by our kindness and hospitality that you offered to give me a hug. I am sorry you didn't like that your table didn't match the chairs you had just bought. Matching the color of antique wood finishes is extremely difficult, if not impossible. You elected to participate in an auction, (not an online retail store!) Your bid is considered legally binding. This is made clear when you signed up, and you are supposed to read all the instructions before you bid. You tried to reverse the credit card payment, but it went through. We decided not to refund your purchase because there was no justifiable reason. The table is gorgeous, it's in great condition. We threw in the table pads at no charge. Nothing in this transaction or experience merits your low feedback score. There were four witnesses to your overly-anxious behavior, including the table's original owners. We all did everything possible to accommodate you, and more. We ask that, in the week that has passed, you calmly reconsider your experience and adjust your feedback response, based on a honest assessment. We go above and beyond to make sure our customers are satisfied, but buyer's regret is out of our control.
