Pair Of Pencil Drawings , Unsigned But With The Style Of Pierre-Paul Prud'hon.

Two original graphite pencil drawings in the manner of Pierre-Paul Prud'hon born in 1758 in Cluny, Saone-et-Loire and who died in 1823. The 2 drawings each capture the style of work of Prud'hon circa 1800 and show not only the body's musculature but the shadows made by the bodies on unseen furniture (a typical trait of Prud'hon's). The last 2 photos show verified examples of Prud'hon's work and are not part of the auction.
