These were added to the Seth Thomas catalogue around the turn of the century starting with the colonial revival style and was popular for many years.

Usually a bit smaller compared to the early Pillr and scroll weight driven clocks and this is a spring driven 8 day movement vs the latter early clocks being 30 hr.

Nice dependable clocks as a rule.

The clock in this sale were running in the collectors home so thats a good thing though good need a drop off oil on the pivots.
