Please note: for this auction, due to the size ...view moreof objects being sold we will not be shipping items without the bidder confirming with us what they would like shipped BEFORE the auction closes. Due to abnormal sizing, these items may be subject to higher shipping costs than usual and shipping will have to be paid for either via PayPal or over the phone with our store. Willful failure to comply with these rules will result in your winnings being considered forfeit without refund.

PICK UP DETAILS: Pickup will take place on Friday, June 7th from 11AM to 6PM, Saturday, June 8th from 11AM to 6PM and Sunday, June 9th from 11AM to 5PM at the Hewitt Estates and Antiques ...view morestore in Everett, WA. Additional pickup times may be available by appointment only. These are firm pickup times but we can potentially allow pickups the following week on a case by case basis. You will need to contact us via text, email or phone call to confirm and schedule your pickup. Items we have not been contacted about and not picked up during these allotted times will be considered forfeited. For faster service during pickups please contact our auction team via AuctionNinja or at AuctionsAtHewitt@gmail.com prior to pickup to indicate which day and time you plan to come in. This will allow us to have your items sorted and prepared for efficient pickups.
MESSAGING/REPLY HOURS:
Our team is dedicated to answering any questions or concerns you may have in a timely manner and to the best of our ability. However, please understand that we may not always be available to respond to inquiries outside of normal work hours, which is usually Wednesday-Sunday from 11-6PM. Additionally, please submit any pertinent questions, shipping requests, or requests regarding an item as soon as possible, so our team might have time to respond before the auction closes.
WINNING BIDDERS:
The pickup address will be given to winning bidders via email. Please contact us if you don't receive this email. Additionally, winning bid emails and invoices can be accessed from your AuctionNinja dashboard after the sale ends. You will want to select to receive winning bid emails in your dashboard. You can select to receive this info via email or text.
NEW BIDDERS:
You will want to go to the Auction Ninja website and read through the terms of service. This will help answer any initial questions you may have as well as enhance your overall experience with using the site and bidding system.
PICKUP:
All items need to be picked up at our location in Everett. As stated above, you will receive the full address once the sale has ended and you are a winning bidder. Please bring help if needed for large/heavy items. We will do our best to accommodate you but can't always guarantee it. Please bring boxes and packing material if needed for your auction items. We sometimes have boxes for auction items but unfortunately can't always guarantee it. Please give yourself enough time to gather and also pack your items prior to location closing.
SHIPPING:
Some items in this auction may be available for shipping. If shipping is available, the item will be marked as such in the individual item description. You MUST contact our auction team via AuctionNinja or email with any shipping requests. DO NOT CONTACT THE STORE! They are unable to help you with these requests, only the auction team can process your shipping requests or handle any other questions.
Items that have been marked available for shipping will be shipped out within approximately 7 business days from the end of the auction.
If an item has not been marked available for shipping, other shipping arrangements may still be made depending on the item, however, you MUST contact the auction team BEFORE the auction closes to verify this. We cannot guarantee that an item not marked as being available for shipping can be shipped to you.
Under usual circumstances, your winnings will be shipped out in priority mailing boxes. Shipping charges for these boxes will normally be an additional $12-25 depending on the size of the item. Shipping charges will be applied automatically to the card on file in a SEPARATE CHARGE through AuctionNinja. The price paid at auction hammer does NOT include additional shipping costs. By purchasing an item for shipping, you are acknowledging this and agreeing to allow a separate charge to the card on file for shipping fees.
AuctionNinja has a very limited in-platform shipping program. If you have ordered an item that does not fit in a normal priority mailing box, or if you have ordered multiple lots that would not fit together into a priority mailing box, shipping can still be provided, but it cannot be charged to the card on file through AuctionNinja directly. If this is the case for your item(s), the Auction Team will be in contact with you within approximately 7 business days after the auction closes. In this case, we will need to complete your shipping purchase either over the phone, or via PayPal. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please message the Auction Team via AuctionNinja messaging, or via email at auctionsathewitt@gmail.com.
If there are any issues with shipping your items, we will do our best to get in contact with you via AuctionNinja's messaging system and/or via any other contact information you may have provided at time of purchase. However, if the Auction Team is unable to get in contact with you, after 30 days we will consider your purchase forfeited. You will not be refunded.
As per the AuctionNinja Terms of Use: all items are sold as-is. While we will do our best to list any damage, repairs or restorations, the absence of these descriptions or conditions must not be taken to imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Most of the items sold by sellers on the AuctionNinja platform are antique, vintage or used. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age.
We strongly encourage you to contact us before bidding if you have any questions or concerns regarding an item. All sales are final and we cannot issue refunds.
TAX EXEMPT:
This is very important! All sales are subject to appropriate sales tax laws. Tax exempt buyers must provide the appropriate state sales tax exemption certificate prior to the end of the sale. Upon receipt of such information by Hewitt Ave Auctions, future purchases will not be taxed. Tax resale forms can be put in your membership profile. Your profile name and address must be the same as your resale certificate. (You must click the Tax Exempt Button located under the Upload Certificate Box to receive the Tax Exempt Status!) This has to happen prior to bidding on items or the sales tax won't be removed.
