Bought three sterling silver spoons. Hewitt advertised the weight as being 156 grams.
When I received the three spoons, the weight was 142.2 grams.
When questioning the auction house, some clown named Jack sent the following response. "All Sales Are Final" Not even an explanation or an apology. All of these fly by night auction houses feel that if they add into the description the words, All Sales Are Final, they think that it's perfectly OK to misrepresent what they're offering. I don't care about the difference in weight because it would only amount to a loss of $10-$15. What I am not happy about is the unprofessional way they decided to handle the situation.
Screw me once by lying and cheating and you'll never get my business again!
