While I probably wouldn't actually use this gorgeous piece of history to serve up the turkey gravy, you undoubtedly could! Nast antique pieces were made to last, which were produced with their patented techniques for the application of gold porcelain in high bas-relief. These hard paste porcelain tablewares were sold to the French upper class and to several courts of Europe, and even was one of the earliest state china services for the White House in 1814. The company had a short, but impactful tenure from 1783 to 1835, with one of its highlights being an exhibit of the firm's wares at the Louvre during the Paris Exposition of 1819. Because of their short history, these pieces are understandably hard to find and quite valuable. This little sauce boat is in excellent condition without chips or cracks and measures 10" long x 5.5" high x 7."
