PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING. When you receive your confirmation email after the auction, please read it. We put specific information for each pickup location in that email that we wouldn't publish broadly here on this ...view morewebsite: for example, directions to help you find the place, which entrance to use, where to park, etc.... If you arrive unprepared, it slows down the pickup process for everyone and can inconvenience the homeowners or neighbors. You are responsible for what you purchased--that means bringing packing material, bags, boxes, tools to disassemble items, tiedowns, dollies, manpower, etc. You must arrive with enough time in the window to get your purchases to your vehicle.
Look pictures over carefully and contact us with any questions you may have about the condition of the item. Items are sold as is, and any defects or blemishes that are observed will be mentioned. We do our best to describe items, test them when possible, and provide pictures from several angles for you to examine. Many estate sale items are in new or like-new condition.
***Pickup for this auction will be on Saturday, April 15 between 11:00-3:00 p.m. near Sheridan and Dartmouth. If you are unable to make this time slot, please send someone in your place or text (preferred method of communication) us directly for alternative arrangements. Weather happens, and we understand that life can be unpredictable; the best option would be to delegate someone to pick it up for you, but communicate if there is an issue, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. **Bring a copy of your invoice and photo identification** We will need to check that in order for property to be transferred to you.
By bidding in this auction, you agree that you will bring your own packing materials, boxes, etc. You will need to wrap your items in and carry them to your vehicle. This also means that you will bring adequate manpower and tools to disassemble and carry out any large or heavy items. We do not have tools, dollies, or the ability to stop facilitating pickup with other customers to help you. Failure to not come prepared may result in a $100 per hour labor charge (billed 30 minutes immediately) to your credit card if we have to assist you or if you came unprepared and we have to stay beyond the time window. Please be considerate and show up before your time window ends (and not at the last second) as this causes inconvenience to staff who must stay late as well as to our clients with whom we've agreed to be out of their home by a certain time. If you're late, there is a $100 staffing charge per hour and billed in 30 minute increments.
* We are not Responsible for any Accidents - Enter the home at your own risk. Bathrooms are not available as we are often in a client's home; this is not part of the arrangement with them, so please plan accordingly.
** Shipping is available for some items. We do not ship, but we are happy to take those items to Ace Pack and Ship in Lakewood for you. It is your responsibility to communicate with us when you bid and then cc us when you contact Ace Pack and Ship within 12 hours of when you win the item to let them and us know that you would like that item shipped. If an item is not available for shipping, you can certainly ask us ahead of time if it's possible to ship it. We are not able to accommodate every request.
