Jean-Paul Martel (1879-1944) was a Belgian painter whose contemporaries were Matisse, Van Gogh, and Lautrec. He is credited with pushing the envelope of post-impressionism into the 20th century.
This incredible piece was purchased by the owner from the estate of the artist himself. The owner was very involved in the art leagues in Texas; this piece was on display at the McAllen, Texas, International Museum in April of 1977. It has been hanging in the home. No observable blemishes were noted. It measures 24.5" x 29" framed. Shipping with insurance and signature will be available through the UPS Store for this item.

If you need an item shipped, you are accepting the terms of $10 handling fee per lot (customer maximum may be $15-20, depending on the lots), and that your credit card will automatically be charged the Priority Mail cost plus the handling fee.
