All jewelry and coins with the code "SD" are part of an original collection belonging to the owner's grandfather, who was a watchmaker and jeweler in the early part of the century in San Francisco, where he owned a jewelry store. He specialized in jade jewelry-making as well as watchmaking and repair. He did some gold panning himself, traveled, and collected loose stones, art, gold, and completed jewelry throughout his travels. It is unknown where he may have acquired these specific pieces. The family has decided it's time to pass along Grandfather's collection to new owners. All pieces have recently been examined and verified by a jeweler in Arvada, Colorado, as authentic.
