There is a matching bracelet in this auction as well. All original parts; Tiffany put their name on a Movado watch movement and created this stunning piece. It still keeps time well. It has been in storage for decades and handed down from grandmother to mother to daughter. Owner's grandfather was a jeweler and watchmaker in San Francisco in the 20's-50's and owned a jewelry store. He traveled extensively, panned gold, specialized in jade and watchmaking, and was, in short, an extraordinary man. He purchased this watch for his wife at the Tiffany store in New York. This watch was examined by Armato's jeweler in Lakewood, certified Tiffany, and dated to be circa 1920's-1940's; the family believes it was gifted to their grandmother in the late 1930's.
