Original 1959 Ponytail Barbie Doll Mismatched Head & Body

I am not a doll expert so apologies in advance for any errors, have had people look at the doll and give me information. Head has discolored with age as you can see in the photos. Body is in really good condition and has not faded. Was told the doll has been in a case for years and was recently uncovered.

* Have been informed by a few that the head is not an original match to the body that the body is a later body to the head maybe around a #4*
