We have been selected to disburse the remaining contents of the Farwell, Seekins farmstead. This farmstead was originally established in the 1830s to 1840s and has remained in the same family since then. The family donated ...view moreseveral items to the Cumberland Farmer’s Assn and the Cumberland Historical Society. We will be liquidating the remaining 3000 to 4000 items over a two-day online auction through the Auction Ninja platform. Many of the items will be sold in large trade and box lots. The auctions will start at 5 pm with 300 lots to be sold on the first day and over 200 lots on the second day. We will be selling antiques, furniture, household effects, barn and garage contents to include lawn and maintenance equipment, multiple lots of hand tools. Up until the 1940s to 1950s, this farmstead was completely operated with draft horses. Subsequently, there are two to three stalls horse worn leather equipment, wiffle trees, etc. Many of the original pieces of furniture that were in the homestead were located in the upper chambers of the barn and are included in this sale. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a 19th century artifact. We will only touch on the highlights. There are over 1000 to 1500 photos for your review. There will be no pre auction preview except for the mechanical equipment to include the John Deere tractor, sickle bar mower, rototiller, Troybilt chipper.
