ENGLISH PEWTER PUSHUP CANDLESTICKS

English pewter pushup candlesticks made around the 1790s.  The candlesticks are marked England on the interior base.  On the top of the base there is an incised crown over "X" and an image of a dog or wolf.  There are a few dings and minor dents on one and both have a top rim that is a bit out of round. T Both candlesticks do not sit completed flat - it appears it could have been done in the making.  You will have to be the judge.   The pushup mechanism on both are functional.  11 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" in diameter
