E.P. Walton & Sons later published Walton's Daily Journal (Newspaper), Montpelier VT 1848-1857, and published annually Walton's Vermont Register and Farmer's Almanac from about 1817.
Ezekiel Parker Walton (1789-1855) was the publisher of Vermont Watchman and of various books (E.P Walton & Sons). His son, Eliakim "E. P. Walton" Persons Walton (February 17, 1812 – December 19, 1890) was an American journalist, editor and politician. He served as a U.S. Representative from Vermont.
