Spectacular WWII Army Scrapbook / Photo Album From Soldier

The name of the solider "Captain William R Lumpkin" printed on the front. Interesting album features original photographs, ephemera, postcards, letters, and newspaper clippings related to his service during World War II. Includes telegrams, Snapshots, photographs, professional quality photographs, printed orders, printed booklets and photographs of Europe and North Africa, postcards of North Africa, letters written home, telegrams sent home, letter sent home dated 1943 for when he was admitted to the hospital and received a Purple Heart award, panoramic photo of the Erie Proving Ground graduating class, and more. About 40 pages with most pages featuring multiple items. I have not photographed each page however, what is photographed gives you a good idea of what is here.

Shipping is available for this item. We will charge your card on file for shipping after the auction. If you are local and would like to pick-up in person at our S. Chatham Mass office, the pick-up time is Saturday June 22nd from 10AM-1PM. If you don't pick up during that time, we will automatically charge the card on file and ship the item. You don't have to contact us to arrange shipping.
