Gittleman’s Lunar Transformation is a series of three vividly colored serigraphs created from black and white photographs taken during the Apollo 15 mission to the moon in 1971. Gittleman uses bright color to transform the craters and crevices of the lunar surface into vibrant abstractions which recall Abstract Expressionist painting. The strong graphic prints reflect the awe-inspiring nature of their source material. photographer, film maker, video producer, graphic designer, multimedia…Each print measures approx 22” by 28”. They have some edge wear and slight foxing. A few have water stains on them. See pictures.

Shipping is available on this lot through a professional shipping company. We offer complimentary drop off at Eastham Qwik Pack & Ship. You can pay them directly for shipping costs. They do a great job and are very reasonable. We use the often and have never had any complaints. If you are local and would like to pick-up in person at our S. Chatham Mass office, the pick-up time is Thursday Nov 9th from 3PM-6PM. If you don't pick up during that time, we will automatically drop the item off at the packing place. You don't have to contact us to arrange shipping.
