C.1800s French Leather Wrapped Pewter Nautical Maritime Spyglass 3 Draw Telescope

Marked "France". Antique 1800s 3 draw telescopic spyglass. Most likely pewter metal with leather flip cap and leather wrapped around middle, which worn and green from age.
Measures closed 12 1/2" x 2 3/4" d at widest. And fully extend 3 draw measures just shy 37" long.
Spotted glass when looking thru.
Oxidation from age. Flip top cap works. Something glued to outside part see pic.
Very cool old spyglass.
