Ornately pierced fretwork with a distinctive octagonal folding form
Displays a desirable aged patina in very good order
Teak stocks presenting deep chestnut and caramel hues
Lift-off top with folding legs for ease of stowage, in the campaign manner
Enthusiastically carved to all surfaces, offering a treat of visual detail
The top sets a flowerhead medallion to centre
Eight striking fretwork panels host foliate scenes
Chased leaves decorate each fascia across the octagon of legs
This is a captivating antique folding lamp table, a wonderful example of colonial campaign furniture.
Measures 18"d top and 18 1/4" tall.
In excellent condition, however one 1" flower on side broken off (see pic). We have piece of flower.
Shipping is available on this lot through a professional shipping company. We offer complimentary drop off at Eastham Qwik Pack & Ship. You can pay them directly for shipping costs. They do a great job and are very reasonable. We use the often and have never had any complaints. If you are local and would like to pick-up in person at our S. Chatham Mass office, the pick-up time is Thursday Nov 9th from 3PM-6PM. If you don't pick up during that time, we will automatically drop the item off at the packing place.
