Antique 19th Century H.R. TAYLOR Wooden Lap Desk

When folded the lap desk measures 4.25” tall, 16” wide and is 11.5” deep. When both sides are opened the depth increases to 23”. The top section has a “lift out” pen/pencil holder with sections on either side for inkwells and storage underneath. The writing surface is lined with velvet and also has storage underneath. There is a crack on the bottom piece of wood of the desk that in no way interferes with the usage. This item is marked with the maker's name on the bottom of the writing surface. It is in excellent condition and shows very little wear.

Shipping is available for this item. We will charge your card on file for shipping after the auction. If you are local and would like to pick-up in person at our S. Chatham Mass office, the pick-up time is Saturday April 20th from 10AM-1PM. If you don't pick up during that time, we will automatically charge the card on file and ship the item. You don't have to contact us to arrange shipping.
