Bob Gillespie compiled a career batting average of .298 with 46 home runs and 0 RBI in his 692-game career with the Waco Indians, Austin Rangers, Vernon Tigers, Evansville Pocketeers, Mission Bears, Mission Bells, Little Rock Travelers and Peoria Tractors. He began playing during the 1923 season and last took the field during the 1929 campaign.
