1970's National Lampoon Lemmings Musical Program With John Belushi

This is a program for the stage production of "Lemmings" that ran for 350 performances at the Village Gate in New York's Greenwich Village starting in 1973.The musical spoof of Woodstock starred John Belushi and Chevy Chase, who went on to star in "Saturday Night Live" two years later. Belushi did his Joe Cocker routine in the show.Also in the cast was Christopher Guest, who would later help create and star in "This Is Spinal Tap," "The Princess Bride" and the movie spoofs "Waiting For Guffman," "Best in Show" and "A Mighty Wind."Another cast member, Garry Goodrow, was an original member of the comedy group The Committee.The program is in Near Mint condition. It has 8 pages and measures 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches.
