1940s Era Sketches By Fashion Artist ERMINA STIMSON From Womens Wear Daily

Women’s Wear Daily is a publication that dates as far back as 1910. It is a fashion-industry trade journal often referred to as the "Bible of fashion". It provides information and intelligence on changing trends and breaking news in the men's and women's fashion, beauty, and retail industries. These sketches were done by Ermina Stimson who had many published sketches within the magazine. There are (20) sketches in all and they are mounted on black paper some of which are double sided. The black paper that they are mounted on measures approx 13.75” by 16.5”. The sketches are not signed but most are dated with the year 1949. They vary in size and condition.

Chatham Mass office, the pick-up time is Saturday July 27th from 10AM-1PM. If you don't pick up during that time, we will automatically charge the card on file and ship the item. You don't have to contact us to arrange shipping.
