1918 Joseph Pennell's Liberty-Loan Poster Hardcover Book

Published by J. P. Lippincott Company, Philadelphia, 1918. "A Text-Book for Artists and Amateurs, Governments and Teachers and Printers, with Notes, an Introduction and Essay on the Poster by the Artist, Associate Chairman of the Committee on Public Information, Division of Pictorial Publicity." Very good book, no dust jacket. Nine illustrations on the development of the poster. Brown paper covered boards with an illustrated paper panel attached to the front board, the same as number III Making the Black Transfer in the text, with black lettering.
