Bound in publisher's full green cloth, gilt lettering, top edge gilt, and floral decoration on spines and covers, rear covers blind-stamped with the same lettering and decoration as the front covers, but not in gilt. Illustrated by Amelia M. Watson with two tissue-protected full-page color frontispieces along with numerous color sketches in the text; all of the illustrations are chromolithographs, bright and clean.
