Howard Miller, (Robinson), Traditional Grandfather Clock. Features 2 separate doors for the dial and lower access to the weights and pendulum. Finished in cherry bordeaux with burl details behind pendulum. An astrological, blue moon phase accents the polished brass dial which offers antiqued, brass corner spandrels, center disc and moon arch. Crystal cut, grooved oval glass accents the sculptured lower door. A high precision, German made Kieninger cable-driven, triple chime movement plays choice of Westminster, St Michael or Whittington with ¼, ½, and ¾ chimes accordingly with full chime and strike on the hour. All chime off lever and automatic nighttime chine shut-off lever. Also features side glass showing interior workings with interior light located at the back top of the clock with an on/off inline switch on the back of the clock. This clock also has an interior certificate holder for service. Winder key is included. In excellent gently used vintage condition with minor wear at base from vacuum. Please note, this is a delicate item. Buyer is responsible to bring additional extra help, wrapping materials and proper vehicle to transport. We can gladly recommend a mover if necessary.
