Item Description

Six writing instruments with provenance, Mexican silver letter opener, and a pocket knife.

Tan case, pen left:
Length 4 2/8”. Gold-filled pencil. “WAHL EVERSHARP” “PATENTED GOLD FILLED”.

On right; Gold Cross pencil. Length 3 3/4”. “1/30 10K. R.G.P. Made in U.S.A.”.

Other:
Gold chatelaine/purse pen (no nib). Length 3”. Safety loop at end. “CAESAR-18. K. R.” Decorative ribbing bands down length. Several tiny dings near top.

Small ‘stainless Cross style purse pen has no name on it.

Typical age-related wear. Total weight 5-1/4 oz. Provided provenance: "Pouch with sketching pens, gold Cross pens. The sketching pens belonged to Chester Coleman Hayes, noted landscape and portrait painter."
