Item Description

Louis XVI fine veneer, mahogany commode, circa late 18th century to early 19th century. Measures 40" high, 51-5/8" wide and 23-3/8" deep. Condition: Some small areas of veneer loss, cracks in back panel. Provided provenance: "Bureau, Louis XVI. Large, 3-drawer bureau, beautifully veneered, veneer in fine condition. Cracks in back and bottom drawer. Has not been verified as of the period, but it looks genuine from the construction."
