Vernon Fisher (Attr.) Very Large Signed Original Oil On Canvas Figures Cityscape Framed 42 X 50

Rich, Heavily painted and Layered, Figures in Cityscape, Signed 'Fischer' on front, 'Vernon Fisher' (to whom we attribute the piece) on stretcher. It is an Original Oil on a thick-weave, linen or burlap canvas. A mass of figures lit by a streetlamp (bearing flags?) march toward an archway with city buildings on either side.
It is framed in a 3 1/2" Wide, 3 3/4" Deep, Gilt wood scoop moulding (black sides).
Canvas measures 36 x 44 and is in Good Vintage condition w/ a patch on upper right (from behind) and craquelure.
Outside of frame measures 42 x 50 and is in Good Vintage condition - likely original - with a few scuffs/nicks.
