Signed Leon Golub Listed American Artist Oil Canvas 'Two Heads' Expressionist Impasto Framed

This is an Original, Oil on Canvas, Signed, on lower right, Leon Golub. It depicts 'Two Heads', in a startling, Expressionist style, using the Impasto technique - heavy layers of paint extending from the canvas - and an earthy, almost nighttime or moonlit, color palette. We date the piece to the early 1960's. It is in Very Good Vintage condition.
2 1/2" Wide, Gold & Brown moulding is included.
Canvas measures 20 x 24.
Outside of frame measures 24 1/2 x 28 3/4.
