Talented Mid Century Modern Artist Signed, Illegibly, at bottom right, this Nautical - View from Above - Oil Painting. It is an Original Oil on Canvas from the 1950's- 60's. Unique perspective depicts several colorful rowboats alongside a larger sloop - a one-masted ship. It uses Mid Century Modern and Impressionistic styles to great effect.
2 1/2" Wide, 1 1/2" Deep, Black, Chamfered (on the back), scoop wood moulding with a gold inner edge is included in this listing. It may be original to them piece.
Canvas measures 15 1/2 X 19 1/2 and is in Very Good Vintage condition.
Outside measure of the frame is 20 1/2 X 24 and is Good Vintage condition with signs of handling throughout.
