Metta Fautwasser Scarsdale New York MCM Artist Signed Original Vintage Watercolor Autumn Landscape Framed

Artist Mettan Fautwasser (1908-1996), Signed, on lower left, this Intriguing Autumn Landscape. It is an Original Watercolor on paper, composed in an MCM style with a hint of Cubism (1960's-70's). Fautwasser, a former commercial artist, studied at the New York School of Fine & Applied Arts (Parsons), New York and Paris Branches. She won first prizes in shows in Scarsdale, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Port Chester, Rye, White Plains and New Rochelle, and has exhibited in juried shows of the National Art League of New York, Hudson Valley Art Association, Beaux Arts, New Rochelle and Greenwich.
1 3/4" Wide, Stained/White-washed oak (we believe), stepped, flat panel scoop moulding with an Acid Free, double mat and glazing are included complimentary in this listing.
Image (mat) opening measures 14 X 22 and is in Very Good to Excellent Vintage condition.
Outside measure of the frame is 22 X 30 and is in Very Good condition.
