Listed French Artist Jacques Bleny (1925-1960) Signed and Dated, on lower left, this Cubist Original Oil on Canvas, a Village Landscape with Aqueduct crossing a river. It is dated 1955 and on the reverse, we believe, are the names (in French) of 2 awards that this painting won, along with the artist's former address. The piece is in Good to Very Good Vintage condition with some cracking, in the thick paint, on upper right - see images.
3 1/2" Wide, Embossed Gold Leaf wood moulding is included. It is in Excellent condition but not original to the piece.
Canvas measures 26 X 32.
Outside of frame measures 32 1/2 X 38 1/2.
