Hungarian Surrealist Figural Mixed Media On Mounted Canvas Artist Signed

Haunting, Surrealist Figural the reminds one of the "Headless Horseman", a mythical figure who has appeared in folklore around the world since the Middle Ages, but usually on a horse. The piece is signed, on lower right, by who we believe is a listed Hungarian artist - cannot make out the signature. The aura of light around his head and general technique are captivating.
The canvas measures 12 x 16 and is mounted onto black flax or burlap covered board.
Silver, metal-clad frame measures 18 3/4 x 22 3/4 (outside). There is no glass!
