Listed Italian born, American Artist Donatus Buongiorno (1865-1935) Signed, on lower right, this Lovely Antique, Oil on Canvas, depicting a young woman in Venice, peering down the canal, possibly waiting for someone. Buildings line the canal, crossed by an arched, stone bridge.
It is framed in a 3" wide, gilded wood, rounded reverse moulding.
Canvas measures 16 x 24 and is in Good Antique condition.
Outside of frame measures 21 1/2 x 29 1/2 and is in Good Antique condition.
Frame may or may not be original to the piece.
