Listed German Artist August Wilhelm Dressler (1886-1970) painted this awe-inspiring image of the Greek god Poseidon (Roman - Neptune), on his chariot, drawn by four Hippocamp's (fish-tailed horses). Naked humans, on the shore are overpowered by the sight of him.
It is an Original Watercolor on paper, circa, early to mid 20th C. Dressler exhibited widely in Germany and internationally, and was awarded various prizes.
