An assortment of four Glazed and Unglazed Ceramic Vases or Vessels, from the American Southwest, we believe. The largest pot is a Tarahumara tribal piece from Mexico, Tarahumara people of the now present day Mexico, have a rich Native American pottery tradition. This style of pottery represents a craft that Native potters have practiced for centuries. Instead of a wheel, Tarahumara Indian pots are created using the pinch and coil method constructed completely by hand, with each taking a uniquely individual characteristic. Three of the vases are signed - only the largest is not. The smallest and most decorated also says 'Navajo' on the bottom. The smallest and largest have zig-zag decorations while the other 2 have wonderful rough surfaces. There is some damage to the lip of the largest piece while the others are in Very Good condition.
