Albrecht Anker Antique Hand Colored Engraving "The Little Musician" Framed!

Swiss Artist & Illustrator Albrecht S. Anker (1831-1910), created this Wonderful, Original, Hand Colored Engraving, on paper. It is titled - "The Little Musician" and was published by D. Appleton & Co. of New York, in 1875. As noted at bottom, the engravers were Eugene-Napoleon Varin & Amedee Varin (A & E Varin). Infant sits his/her chair with the handle of the rattle in his/her mouth, making it appear that they are tooting their own horn!! Charming late 19th Century piece updated with a more modern frame!
2 1/2" Wide, 1 3/4" Deep Rounded Shiny Black moulding, with Linear Gold decoration on inner and outer edges, black core (usually acid free), cream colored silk mat and Plexiglas are included complementary in this auction.
Image opening measures 6 X 9 1/2 and is in Very Good to Excellent Antique condition.
Outside measure of the frame is 16 1/4 X 20 3/4 and is in Good condition w/ some scuffing.
