A pair of J. Pocker & Sons Conservation framed (matching frames, mats and size) J.J. Audubon drawn prints of Book Plates 56 (LVI) and 57 (LVII) of "The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America" (1845), highlighting the American Bison or Buffalo, in nature. Images and frames are in Very Good condition.
They are framed in 1 3/4" wide Closed corner, Distressed wood (granite-like) panel moulding with a twisted rope decoration around the inside, double Acid Free mats and glass (likely UV-reducing).
Image (mat) opening measures approx. 16 1/2 x 22 1/2.
Outside of frame measures 22 1/2 x 28 1/2.
