Item Description

Hilda Florin, 1877-1958 was a Finnish artist noted for the etchings & sculptures from her early career & her portraits in her later career. Her work is shown in numerous key galleries & museums such as the Helsinki Art Museum. This portrait of a gentleman with notepad is dated 1920. Artist signed & dated on lower right edge. Oil on canvas image is 15 1/2" x 21 1/2". The original carved wood gold frame is 19" x 25 1/2". Beautiful condition.
