Yueqi Zhang (1951–2009) was a Chinese-American artist and professor known for his contributions to visual communication design. Born in China, he earned a diploma in product design from Tianjin School of Fine Arts in 1981 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1987. He later pursued advanced studies in the United States, obtaining a Master of Arts in Multimedia and Communications from Saginaw Valley State University in 2001 and a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007. In 2009, Zhang joined Purdue University Northwest as an assistant professor, where he taught courses in digital imaging, typography, digital photography, and design until his passing in 2009.
