Squaxin Native Artist Mike Krise Original Drawing & Painting "ORB"

Usually the end of an auction has a bunch of less desirable items to fill out an auction. Not the case here. These last lots feature some drawings, ideas and tidbits from the creative mind of artist Mike Krise. At 73, recently having a kidney removed Mike is heading toward his twilight years. Having been the darling of the Squaxin tribe art scene his works generally don't reach beyond the reservation with family and museum personal making regular rounds to grab up anything he had recently done. Frankly I don't see how that is benefiting Mike and hope we can get some of his art to the public and have him be rewarded for his skill. I sincerly hope you will buy some of these pieces and assist him with the means to enjoys things he has been missing. Without no longer receiving the benefits from gooey duck diving, salmon fishing and clam digging where at his last outing suffered heat stroke and was unable to continue Mike's retirement is a quarter of any of us the revenue would really help. I can say he is loved by everyone who has had the opportunity to meet him and acts as a positive ambassador between of tribe and general population,
With that said we hope you will find some of his art here and elsewhere in this auction and bid often and win some of his art. His style and uniqueness than any other native artist and his art is guaranteed to become a very profitable investment. Thanks
