Mike Krise Original Painting Salmon Caught In A Net 16" X 12"

Original by Squaxin tribal artist Mike Krise. Rarely do Mike's painting make it off the reservation typically taken by tribe elders or the Squaxin museum which is run by his sister. Art pieces like this one end up in private collections throughout the North West.

from the creative mind of artist Mike Krise. At 73, recently having a kidney removed Mike is heading toward his twilight years. Having been the darling of the Squaxin tribe art scene his works generally don't reach beyond the reservation with family and museum personal making regular rounds to grab up anything he had recently done. Frankly I don't see how that is benefiting Mike and hope we can get some of his art to the public and have him be rewarded for his skill. I sincerly hope you will buy some of these pieces and assist him with the means to enjoys things he has been missing. Without no longer receiving the benefits from gooey duck diving, salmon fishing and clam digging where at his last outing suffered heat stroke and was unable to continue Mike's retirement is a quarter of any of us the revenue would really help. I can say he is loved by everyone who has had the opportunity to meet him and acts as a positive ambassador between of tribe and general population,
