Mid Century Modern Globe Transister Radio Display Perfect Working Order

I've Owned a lot of transistor radios of all shapes and sizes but am parting with my all time favorite. A radio is still a must to have around the house to tune into local news or weather. It doesn't get any better than this mid century modern classic from the 1960's. There are two issues to address. The is a spot where the radio had a traumatic event. You might miss it just above the equator. Also the battery cover is missing but never an issue because the batteries hold tightly. Look at the condition of the battery area. No dead or oozing battery goo just pristine.
