Item Description

New Windsor 'Artiste' Patent Model 4 Rosewood and Mother-of-Pearl Five-String Zither Banjo, A.O. Windsor, Birmingham, England, 1910-20. Inlaid on the ebony neck in mother-of-pearl with shields and geometric devices, stamped at the top of the peghead "No. 4," the heel affixed with an oval plate, stamped "PATENT" on the flange, together with one set of D'Addario J69 5 strings and a bridge; housed in the original Windsor Patent case.

H: 37.625 in., Drum head: 8.75 in., D: 2.25 in.
