The rectangular top within a brass gallery rail, above the slant-front carved with a palm frond within scrolled foliage, opening to reveal eight cubby holes over two drawers centering a shell-carved document door, flanked by engaged half balustrades opening to secret drawers, over three drawers flanked by inset rope-twist and ring-turned columns, raised on talon-and-ball feet.
