Winning Bidders Will Receive Address Via Email – PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE IT (select in your dashboard to receive auction win information either via email or text. Auction win emails and invoices can also be accessed via your dashboard after the sale has closed).
PICKUP:
• SATURDAY 4/24/21 FROM 10AM - 2PM
• SUNDAY 4/25/21 FROM 10AM – 12PM
Items not picked up by NOON on Sunday WILL BE CONSIDERED FORFEITED WITH NO REFUNDS. N0 EXCEPTIONS.
Limited shipping is available for items that will fit into a small, medium, or large USPS flat rate package. We encourage bidders to contact us before the bidding closes for more information if they will desire shipping.
For everyone's safety, please do the following when picking up your items:
1. WEAR A MASK
2. MAINTAIN AT LEAST 6 FEET OF DISTANCE between yourself and other people at the auction pick-up,
3. BRING YOUR OWN PEN for your invoice signature OR print and pre-sign your invoice to submit when picking up your items.
Also, please bring the following with you:
• Help for loading large and/or heavy items into your vehicle
• Proper packaging materials for delicate and fragile items.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS AUCTION:
Scouts of Darien is part of The Andrew Shaw Memorial Trust, a 501(c)3 charity whose mission is to support a vibrant Cub Scout and ScoutsBSA program in Darien, CT. All our items are donated. As a result, we pass on the auction savings to you with only a 12% Buyers Premium. This cost covers our administrative and auction software expenses. Most auctions are 18% or more.
Because we are a 100% volunteer organization, we do not have a staffed office but we are very responsive on email. Please contact us at darienscouts@gmail.com.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All items are SOLD AS IS. Bidders are strongly encouraged to ask any questions prior to bidding. Please refer to photos as part of the description. Often there are multiple photos for each lot. Just click on the cover photo to open the file and see all the available photos and pertinent condition information. While Scouts of Darien will do our best to list any damage, repairs, or restorations, the absence of these descriptions or conditions must not be taken to imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Most of the items Scouts of Darien sells are donated and used. Many are antique or vintage. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age. All sales are final. No returns, credits, or exchanges.
The auction begins to close at 8:30 PM. Each auction lot will close 50 seconds apart which extends the auction ending for at least an hour. If people are actively bidding on an item then that item will extend an extra five minutes. Please keep that in mind as you plan to bid.
Lastly, for new Bidders, please go to the Auction Ninja website and read the terms of service. That will enable you to have a good bidding experience and answer many questions you may have.
